Click and Collect item shows as delivered, but it has not reached the Argos

I bought an item on eBay on 15th. It was marked as dispatched on 17th. The delivery date was a week ago (19th-21rd). It should have been delivered to an Argos for me to collect. I haven't received any notifications from Argos nor from eBay, so I messaged the seller to ask to provide tracking number. The seller hasn't replied, so I opened INR on Monday. Yesterday seller provided tracking number which shows that (1) item has been dispatched on 22nd (2) item has been delivered yesterday (29th). The problem is that the delivery office shown on the Royal Mail website is in completely different part of the country, miles away from the Argos in question and I still haven't got notification from Argos/eBay that the item is ready for collection.
The question is: where do I stand with the INR case? On one hand, it shows as delivered and signed for. On the other hand it has not reached neither me nor Argos store it was supposed to be delivered to.
P.S. I also visited Argos store on Monday it case it has been delivered and was not scanned properly for some reason.

Ive had this - the seller is simply trying to fool the eBay system with tracking information.
My case:
- Item purchased via eBay. Dispatched. I never received it.
- Contacted seller - no response.
- Open case via eBay.
- Seller uploaded new tracking information, stating item dispatched the day the case was opened!
- Received empty envelope - rang eBay and explained, sent images etc.
- Seller uploaded another tracking number, which now showed delivered - the tracking coordinates even showed my road.
- I live at number 22. Seller dispatched an empty parcel to number 2!
- Fortunately I know the people living there and they recognised my name, and came and gave me the empty parcel!
- Again, fed back to eBay.
- In the end the case timed out, and eBay ruled in my favour (as they do for most buyers).
Seems like you could have a similar case......0
