Morning all, been away for a few days. Visited Bath Christmas market, which was so busy, such a beautiful place to visit.
gradually getting sorted for Christmas, we were away for seven weeks last year over Christmas so good to see the ‘old decoration friends’ come out of the loft as didn’t bother last year.

Morning
Well he's been.....not the big guy in a red suit but the guy with the power to sort my water out. So he changed a thingermegig in the garden and now its easy for my plumber to turn it off. Need to sort the next stage out now which is to fit a new stop c0ck in the kitchen so even I could turn it off. He pitched up at 5pm last night so had to put lights on as it was dark.
Its volunteer call morning so a few people to catch up with.
Mums house has opened finally so my plan is to go tomorrow when I have no calls.
Food today will be a Shepards pie so just need to do the mash.
Nanny good to see you back lovely and hope things perk up for you
Have a great day all xx10 -
Morning everyone just got in from my cleaning job I’m having a bowl off soup then off to work it’s bright this morning but a hard frost better than yesterday it was a horrible day freezing fog never lifted all day at least today the sun is shining Taff I’m with you on Xmas presents I buy every one what I can afford and what I think they will like and I just let them get on with it some put far to much pressure on themselves to be perfect I once worked with a girl who spent most of December in tears worrying about her kids Xmas presents and I wouldn’t care she had two lovely kids who never asked for anything it was her that wanted everything perfect whatever that is it’s only one day but I think there’s a lot of pressure on social media I know someone who put a perfectly matching living room absolutely full to the brim with beautiful matching presents for her grandchildren and people comment on what a marvellous grandma she is we all are it’s not all about presents and I bet they are just empty boxes wrapped up especially for facebook I know when mine were babies and I came out of hospital with my second one and my husband had took of with someone the neighbour who he left my 18 month old with and was doing a pile of ironing for me became my best friend and I have never forgotten what she did for me she had no money but went and picked me some groceries up and helped me out no end and was always there for me . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing8
