I haven’t got the kWh at the moment,Get it as it is key information. This is what you use. Your direct debit is what you pay. It isn't what you use. Your direct debit could be set high as you were in arrears. It could be set high because you expect to use more or that you actually do use more than you think. Or you are on a more expensive tariff. Or you are relying on estimated readings and the estimate doesnt reflect reality.
You say your usage is high, but only the meter readings can help.
