Paper assessment

Hi there all was wondering if anyone could help me ! I was in the middle of my pip assessment I’m the phone and half way through the assessor stopped it for my safety apparently no matter how much I said please let’s carry on she ended the call ! Well today they have rang me and told me they will be doing a paper assessment?? Is this right and what does that mean please thanks kindly

The assessment may have stopped for safe guarding issues and this can happen. It can't be a paper based assessment if you did part of the assessment. What they mean is they are now writing the report based on all the information they have.Once the report is returned to DWP a decision can take up to about 12 weeks, sometimes longer.1
