New Boiler never worked

I bought a new viesserman boiler from iheat on the 9th November I paid via their finance company v2. Went with iheat as they could fit next day for £20. Got a call later that evening saying soonest it would be fitted would be the 16th. Asked for my £20 back still haven't received.
My boiler was fitted on the 16th and hasn't been up and running since (apart from a 12 hour period). Engineer visited 4 times and could not fix so iheat arranged for viesserman to visit today (28th). Vissermann visited and have said the boiler is faulty and his words were he's disgusted that we've waited so long for iheat to sort out.
We have a 10 year warranty with visserman which my partner signed as finally on the 19th Nov our house was heated however by the following morning it had an error code. Vissermann said there were parts loose inside the boiler and that he was shocked and would be writing a report to iheat. Needs a new part so should be up and running tomorrow after a long 3 weeks.
My issue is where do I stand. I've been sold a faulty item and although under warranty surely its down to iheat to rectify and they should have taken responsibility. The engineer was a third party who iheat gave the work too. They missed the next day fitting so breaking contract inmy eyes and as soon as warranty was in place they washed their hands with us.
I have an immersion heater so atleast have hot water costing me an extra 2.50 perday but need to use as have a toddler and my partners job means he's filthy everyday. We borrowed a heater off a family member but if we didn't have am immersion we wouldn't be able to stay in our home with a little one as it wouldn't be fair.
I've logged a complaint with iheat but just wondered what my rights are.
Thanks in advance.

Had to check what date you posted that, I thought maybe 1960's. I don't know a plumber who would even visit the property for £20. A classic you get what you pay for1

Put the Viessmann(?) comments to one side - technicians from one company will always blame the other.
If it's faulty, you have consumer rights and don't need to worry about the warranty. It seems sensible to await what sounds like a fix tomorrow. If you reject the boiler now, tomorrow's fix will be cancelled and you'll be waiting for iheat to sort someone out to come and remove the boiler, order and install the new one, which could take weeks.
If tomorrow's fix doesn't work, write to iheat rejecting the boiler, and insisting on either a full refund or a replacement. If it were me, I'd chase removal and refund and get a recommended local installer to supply and fit for you.0 -
So what exactly are you looking for. It's under warranty so it's either going to be fixed by Viessman themselves or they'll replace it. Just let them get on with it and never use iheat again.0

I've paid £20 to secure a date as well as installing fees to have the boiler fitted. Unfortunately I'm not in a position to pay someone local to do it as they don't offer monthly payments and I require heat to heat my home. Was simply asking what I could do. I know the warranty will cover a new or fix to my new boiler however I entered a contract with iheat not viessmann and wanted to know where I stood with them as they simply have wiped their hands of the issue. If I've been without heating for 3 weeks surely they have broken my contract?1

Unless you are in a position to reject the boiler, demand a refund, then find an alternative and wait for it to be installed, you really have few practical alternatives other than get the current (new) boiler fixed and working properly. I don't think many of us would want to wait weeks possibly months to get a working boiler at this time of year.I would get straight on to the finance company as they are jointly responsible for provision of a working system.1

So how much are you actually paying for the install? No free lunch, and no free laptop0
