Zenith fixed term savings

Morning, this is my first post so thanks for reading. I recently inherited a small sum of money which I put into a 1 year fix zenith account, following on from MSE post. I’m just concerned that I cannot view my investment online although I did get a confirmation email. I’m 60 and old school so I’ve been concerned my money has disappeared.

It looks like you can only get information on your bond with them through the phone, or by post. If you're concerned whether your money has reached them or not, then just phone or write to them and get confirmation that they've received it.
Also you usually have a 14 day cooling off period with these, so if you're really uncomfortable with not being able to view it online, you can cancel and go with a different provider that will allow you to see it online instead.1 -
How long is it since you made the deposit? If you've received an e-mail to confirm receipt of the deposit I wouldn't worry. Zenith has been around for years and isn't a fly-by-night operation. If it is an 'old school' account without internet access I'd imagine you'll soon receive a letter in the post confirming the deposit, account number and so on.Elaine2992 said:Morning, this is my first post so thanks for reading. Fixed rate deposits don't need constant monitoring so in my opinion a lack of internet access isn't really a massive problem.1 -
Odd that they're only post or phone as website makes a bit point of technology on their 'about us' page. I suppose phones are technology0
