Congestion Zone penalties received, 10 months after the fact!

Hi there! Yesterday I received 4 fines for driving through congestion charge zones in London (3 fines on one day in Januari '22 and one in februari '22, 2x ULEZ and 2x the 'normal' congestion zone) totalling 400 euros when paid within 14 days. I am willing to pay this, if this was all. Problem is, since januari I came to the UK for business multiple time, so I am a bit worried that a lot more will come. I found out that a PCN should be issued within 28 days after the offense. But I don't know if that also applies to a foreigner like me, living in The Netherlands. Im a law abiding citizen and of course willing to pay if I have done something wrong. But getting a fine should work like a feedback loop; however 10 months after the fact did not give me a chance to improve my "behavior". Any ideas what could be done about this and does anyone know if the 28 day limit applies to me as a Dutchie? Thanks in advance! Mart

Since we concentrate on parking charge notices from unregulated private parking companies, you would be better off taking this over to our friends on Pepipoo.com as they are the experts on council and police issues. You will need to sign up on Pepipoo with a non-Hotmail email address before reading the FAQs, then posting both sides of your PCN with your query.PrivateCouncilPolice2

Assuming these PCNs refer to a Dutch registered vehicle & were sent to your address in the Netherlands then they are not enforceable outside the UK. This forum majors on private parking so I suggest you read through the thread that started on this other forum http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=147497Is your car in fact exempt from the ULEZ charge? Exempt foreign vehicles need to be registered with TfL. If this is the case I have seen people who have contact TfL directly & got their vehicles registered retrospectively & PCNs cancelled.2

@Grizebeck it was sent out by "Euro parking collection plc". I am not so much afraid that they will come in front of my door to collect the outstanding amount. But it would be nice to be able to travel to your beautiful country in the future, without UK police or customs impounding my vehicle or something similar, when I come back0
