I work on news & mags at asda, when we got match mag delivered last week I phoned smiths news because I thought it was a printing error. I agree with you its a total rip off and I sent a lot of them back straight away, doesn't matter how many free gifts there are in it still not worth £9.99 ( which is printed in tiny writing). I would get a refund if I was you.

How can they explain charging that?

I've no idea how I'd get a refund TBH as my littlie had already opened it by the time I realised. The comic is the same as normal - same size - however, where it normally has printed £1.80 it actually has £9.99:eek:....the free gifts weren't worth much really....but it's the principle - the price is hidden...

Now before anyone starts I know it's caveat emptores (let the buyer beware:o) and I shant fall for this trick twice. Not a nice way for Match to treat there customers though:mad:

contact the publisher and ask them to explain why if your not happy with the price hike.

Stamford on here is one for contacting CEO'S on here asking them to explain themselves to individuals, I think they would be interested in this one!
