Stand alone dish washer for small flat?

Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a small counter top dishwasher you can fit on top of a counter top that doest need any plumbing? if so how do you connect it to the water? do you just plug into the kitchen sink tap? We have one of those taps which hot and cold come out of. The water pressure is pretty poor though so would it still work? Does the dish washer heat the water up making it very hot?
Are there any dish washers you don't even need to plug into anything?
thanks all

Use a bowl, and you can reduce the water consumption too.

We were looking at a counter top model and decided that the cavity was too small for our large dinner plates.
You connect them to the tap so it can be difficult with a mixer tap but you can get adaptors that screw into the end in place of the plastic bit.
    They heat the cold water.

I have a BOB, not the cheapest but doesn't need plumbed in (though you can if you want), just fill it manually with a jug each wash and have hose exhausting into a drain (I use my sink)

Thanks please can you tell me the make and model you use please?
Wpuod be good for people with disabilities who washing dishes may not be possible or maybe cause severe pain. But they may not have a kitchen large enough to install a dishwasher in or parents who have autistic children who need a high level of supervision so and hour doing dishes may be shortened by having a dish washer.

I'm not sure what you mean about make and model, I have a BOB that I linked to, that's the make and model. They don't do different models; they do different colours and different accessories but not different models AIUI.
  • Years ago I had the wrong model Bosch dishwasher delivered. It was a half height one that only used 1lt of water per session.

    Looked amazing.

I know this thread is over two years old, but did you get one Blackstar? If you did would you recommend?
    Thanks
