I just let the iboost do its thing and use generation that would otherwise go back to the grid.0

Wiltshire. 4 kWs facing due east, 3.12 kWs facing due West. Attached is last week's, and Christmas week 2020, generation profiles. If there are no high power items we can run the house on gloomy days most of the year from around an hour after sunrise and an hour before sunset.4

Yesterday, my 3kWp South facing array managed a paltry 0.7kWh.
We do get over 3MWh per year though.1
