Ovo energy Kwh charges ??
Hi all. I currently pay the utility bills for my ex and myself .I am with ovo and eon .eon seem to give you the £66 but also discounts the Kwh charge . Ovo refund the £66 but no discount on the kwh charge?
Any thoughts ? I have attached bills for your comparison .ovo have replied but with a generic answer.

The unit rate discount is the EPG - "the price cap".
The £66 is the EBSS - "the £400 rebate".
These are completely different support schemes.
edit: oh - get rid of addresses, MPRNs and serial numbers on your bills if you are posting them here, it's supposed to be anonymous and you risk it getting deleted.4 -
Thanks .my question is why eon seems to show epg but ovo do not ?0

The unit prices on the OVO bills are already under the cap rate so don't need to be further reduced.0

They have, it's the Energy Price Guarantee line underneath 'Energy Used'Simoncard said:Thanks .my question is why eon seems to show epg but ovo do not ?

Simoncard said:Thanks .my question is why eon seems to show epg but ovo do not ?Suppliers show it in different ways. Some as a reduced rate (OVO?), some as a credit after charging the rate without the EPG deducted (Eon?)As SparkyGrad said, edit your images and remove the address and meter numbers, as they identify you. The images will be removed by the forum team if you don't.

Quite simplyOvo charge you 32.35p per kWhEon charge you 49.35 less 17p price guarantee rebate = 32.35p per kWh0

Looks like ovo might have moved the rates onto the EPG cap ( 34p ave +/- few p regional variations etc ).
EOn are quoting full rates and full discounts on their flex plan.
Always remove / redact personal details before adding bills etc to posts, meter number, contract numbers, address etc.
As true here as on any open platform.
We have seen the rates now - and you have the answer - so edit bill images and or delete the bills.
