    EDIT:
YouGov finance will give you £5 every 3 months for each current account you link to them. I've got 22 accounts linked to them.
That’s interesting. I have a YouGov account but unaware you can link bank account.
I looked on their site to get info but I couldn’t see where it mentions you can get £5 every three months, just the initial amount for linking it at start.

So how does that work, are you unlinked every 90 days so have to remember to link it again for another £5 or does it do it automatically ?

That’s a lot of accounts you have 😃….I assume no issues with having do many except remembering passwords 😃
    See:
    https://www.yougov.finance/

It's a separate website from the YouGov survey one but you can log in with your existing YouGov details.

After 90 days the account is unlinked but you can then link them up manually again to get the money again. They give you 500 YouGov points for each current account or credit card you link and 100 points for each savings account you link. Points can be redeemed from your normal YouGov account.

There are a few accounts you can't link, most notably Co-operative and metro bank accounts, most regular savers, notice accounts and fixed bonds. Also each account you link has to meet their definition of an "active" account, which nobody seems to know how active an account needs to be,

I only discovered this one a couple of months ago and as I already had nearly 20 current accounts plus a few credit cards anyway I thought why not? I've now opened accounts specifically to link to YouGov finance which I have yet to link yet.

I've currently got 24 current accounts and am in the process of opening another 2. I've also got over 100 savings accounts, 2 credit union accounts, 4 investment accounts and 3 credit cards and have very few issues though I do have quite a few passwords which I have written down and kept under lock and key. I get a lot of post too which isn't a bad thing as I am never short of scrap paper in the form of dozens of envelopes . Many of my accounts are with the same bank including 15 with Lloyds alone. I'm sure there will be others with more accounts than me on this forum as they do seem to breed a bit.
  • Hey guys,
Never posted here before but just read through this thread and I loved it!

Iv downloaded swag bucks but it seems really hard to make decent money on there, how do you guys all do it? I’d love some tips!

    Laura
Have you ever switched a current account before? If not then bank switching bonuses can get you most of the way there. Bank reward accounts i.e. Halifax (£15/mth), Natwest/RBS (£3/mth each), etc, matched betting, stoozing are all profitable as are refer a friend offers. Costa coffee and Greggs give you free food for your birthday. The list goes on.

    EDIT:
YouGov finance will give you £5 every 3 months for each current account you link to them. I've got 22 accounts linked to them.
It is purely for current accounts? I have the odd savings account linked to current accounts as well.

It works for credit cards too. All 3 of mine are linked. Savings accounts can be linked but they only give you £1 for each. It's very hit and miss as to which savings account you can link though. It's mainly just easy access accounts but they have to be "active" and so far none of my savings accounts have fit the bill.

Thanks for the detailed response Bridlington1 👍🏻 much appreciated.
Of course my main current account is with the Co-operativebank 🙄..they do ‘open banking’ so not sure why they are not included.
I going to open a Monzo one so once I have I’ll try linking it to see how it goes.
I notice you can also link Netflix but won’t work or set up with an iPad 🤔 ..I’ll have to see if my old laptop will start up 😬
    Thanks again 👍🏻

Thanks, yes it does seem a little hit and miss, one bank only seems to put one account through whilst omitting the other (both active) yet the others all go through ok. Thanks though as I didn't know about this.
