Major error in number plate entry selecting wrong vehicle on parking app

I selected the wrong vehicle on a parking app when parking in an alliance parking Ltd car park in Polzeath in the summer 
I did not overstay the time limit 
I returned from holiday to a parking charge
I appealed the charge and lost 
I appealed via the adjudicator and lost 
I had quoted a blog from kitsons solicitors that you can find if you search under kitsons and 

I then wrote to the litigation team at Alliance parking Ltd offering them £20 as per the BPA code of conduct ( I know they are under IPC ) 
I quoted the above blog from the kitsons website if you google search under kitsons and parking case 

they threatened to take me to court 

I replied that they were knowingly wasting my time, I was not going to be intimidated and that I would use the emails in any court case to point out to the judge that they were aware of previous judgements and so would have been knowingly wasting the courts time 

it is nearly 10 weeks and I have heard nothing 

This case illustrates that parking companies under different codes of conduct still knowingly try to profiteer and use their positions to threaten legal action when they know it is effectively intimidation  

I would love to take a class action for intimidation and charge for time etc in defending against such malicious actions 

Does anyone else have any views on this ?

They can bring a court case up to six years after the alleged event, so don't get complacent just yet.

Plan A is always a complaint to the landowner and your MP. Have you done that yet?

Wait to have your say when the government consultation on private parking charges begins sometime in the, hopefully, near future. Keep an eye out and regularly revisit this forum to ensure you don't miss it.
The provisional code of conduct will hopefully outlaw charges for entering an incorrect VRM. That was their intent when the CoP was previously put out for public consultation.

We need you - as a genuine PPC victim of aggression, sharp practice and an 'extortion' attempt to add £70 which will be on the next letter - to respond robustly to the Public Consultation on the level of parking charges and banning of the false added DRA 'fee' that too many honest motorists currently fall victim to.
