When I worked for one of my former employers 5 or 6 years ago they were supported by an independent finance company/IFA that produced a financial freedom snapshot /cashflow report.
You provided them with info like Employment Details (salary, any bonus etc.), Pension Details (Estimated current value of pensions, annual contributions etc.), Other income expected in retirement, Savings & Investments (ISA's, Any extra cash), Property (Mortgages, or value), Debts.
Then Pension goals e.g. Retirement expenditure (e.g. clothing, vehicles, utilities, house upkeep etc.), Leisure Expenditure (Holidays, eating out, hobbies etc.) Milestones (kids wedding etc.).
Taking in all those values, it works out your personal cashflow forecast.
Didn't appreciate how useful this was at the time BUT as my personal circumstances have changed and there is such financial volitility now over a number of years, would be great to know if I am on the right road financially myself.
Does anybody use one, know where I can get access to a free one online?? Ideally don't want to pay as it might be a one off.

No, I don't know of one, but I wouldn't want to be entering all that detail into a random website, it sounds an ideal idea for a phisher/scammer to select targets.

Think this kind of sums up why things like this have disappeared. Especially any that would be free. While things are stable, it a fair guess. These days who knows which way things will go.

IIRC Microsoft Money has a retirement planning wizard along these lines. It's been long discontinued and you should still be able to download the 2005 UK version for free from somewhere.1
