Bus Gate fine Hull

l have received a PCN for driving through a bus gate in Hull and have a question about the legality of the road markings where l entered the bus gate 

 

l was in the middle lane and turned right into carr road entering the bus gate 

 

but as you can see the Bus gate road markings are obscured by the cycle lane and badly faded so at 7.00pm at night within the hours of darkness l did not see the road markings and entered the bus gate 

do l have grounds to appeal the PCN
