Broken Shark

I bought a Shark about three years ago using a discount I found on MSE. It no longer sucks anything up. I've pulled it apart to check for blockages, but could find anything. The battery appears to be okay.
Is there anything else I can look for, or is it normal for Sharks to die so soon? Thanks.

The motor still runs as normal?0

I love my shark but something broke after a couple of years. I hadn’t registered for the 5 year warranty but they still honoured it and sent me the replacement part free of charge. Try speaking to customer services and see what they say.2

Never had a Shark. Does it have filters, if so have you cleaned / replaced them?

I don't know what the filters are like on the Shark - can you actually leave them out and the Shark still runs? Ie, do they have separate covers you can replace on the Shark, but leave the actual filters out?If so, give that a bash; remove the filter, replace the filter cover, and fire her up - if the Shark now sucks like a sucky thing, then the removed filters must have been blocked, so get new ones. But if the Shark still sucks at sucking, then it must be a blockage in a pipe.(I can do that with my Dyson - if suction falls off during 'cuuming, I often just whip out the filters, close the covers, and carry on to finish the job. Man, it don't 'alf suck well without them.)1

Are both motors working: suction main motor and the brushroll? All the ones I've seen get blocked between hose and handle at the narrow point.
Have you lost suction on both the floor head and the hose? Just work back up until you find the point where you have suction again.
Spare are pretty hit and miss on these, you often have to buy complete assemblies, which makes it uneconomic to repair them.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Problem seems to be the the floor head. It spits everything out as soon as it's turned off, or when I lift it to change direction while it's still on.0
