Things sound massively busy for you at the moment. Don’t forget to take some time for yourself!
massively jealous of your water feature. I long for one so there are plans for one once my son is too old to need the back garden to play in!28/12/24

Flossy - On the water feature - if your son is old enough to be left unattended with a water feature you could always do a barrel one and perhaps put in a solar fountain. Failing that start with a bird bath and a solar one... Prices start at £10ish for the solar fountains... I need to find mine and get someone to install it as a little addition. I was lucky mine came with the house - and while I've had to get it restored in the last year - it was largely already there.
I'm going to ask my cleaner to tackle the garage again. It got sorted a year or so ago but is now chaotic again. I've kept the house pretty tidy since last week - but haven't done any more decluttering. I still need to rescue some items I put in DS's room which included some CCs and some laundry baskets with items still in them.
I owe time to work again so debating what to do about that i.e. make it up or book annual leave to cover it.
A friend has suggested meeting up - so that will be nice when it comes off.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Yes he’s old enough (13) but we have grand plans to get rid of the play equipment/den and build some sort of waterfall/stream down the garden. I also want to get rid of all the grass and have it all planted with paths etc. it will happen. Eventually!! 😂

Lots for you to think about without worrying about owing time to your work. Can you make the time up in small but regular chunks and save your annual leave for something relaxing for you to enjoy.
have you got any more houses booked in to view?3 -

One of the houses I enquired about has said I can go and view on Sunday. It has stunning views. Is an hour from work on a good day - a lot longer on a bad one. Will see what happens.
I will see if I can book some leave. I'm not quite busy enough currently to get in flow and make the time up so it's the easiest solution. I need an hour or two for DD on Friday too potentially.
My bin has broken - so need to spend a bit to replace that. Debating waiting until pay day. My cleaner didn't come so my budget was slightly happier. However, I've now been invited to see a friend on Monday night and eat out so that will use some of that up. Nice to have something to look forward to. I'm paid a week tomorrow. Need to focus on using up what I already have rather than spending more.
