Paid for order, no confirmation.

My GF ordered from Look Fantastic, paid for the order but didn't get an order confirmation and nothing is showing in the orders in the account. Contacted them and they just say it's been referred to the Finance department. Anything we can do?

Wait a couple of days and then chase it up.  Have you bought it on finance or card?

It was just on a debit card.

Was it a payment using on of the buy now & pay over 3 months with the card?

If you’ve received no order confirmation and they can’t find your order, it’s unlikely it’s went through. 

Happens occasionally due to a glitch in the payment process between the merchant’s account and your own card provider. In my company, it’s known as a ghost order. 

Frustrating but Look Fantastic won’t be able to do much if they haven’t received the funds. 

It’ll show as pending in your bank account for around 5 working days where it’ll then fall off and your available balance will be updated.

Both websites looked the same.

Tonight there is only Lookfantastic.com

They'll both take you to the same place. Adding the slash at the end doesn't make it a different domain.

Look Fantastic always gets loads of complaints, usually when say there a sale is on.   Products sold which are not actually in stock, and they are awaiting stock.  Seems to be the big one.  I haven't bought from them in years.
