The benefit cap amounts have also been raised by 10.1%.LHA rates are maintained at their "elevated rate" which was set for 2020/21.3

Enjoying the sarcasm. Am I right in thinking they were initially set to 50% of market rate? Last year's 30% is an interesting definition of 'elevated'.Robbie64 said:LHA rates are maintained at their "elevated rate" which was set for 2020/21.
Edit: never mind, found what's essentially an official history of LHA rates https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/local-housing-allowance-uprating-equality-analysis-april-2020/equality-analysis-for-uprating-local-housing-allowance-rates-to-the-30th-percentile-of-local-rents#local-housing-allowance2 -
Yes, they used to be 50% of market rate then reduced to 30% before being frozen for a number of years. They were then restored back to 30% of market rate in 2020 in response to Covid restrictions.0
