Heathrow T2 to T5 transfer whilst using crutches

Thanks for looking in.
We're due to travel in January, and are flying into Heathrow T2, staying overnight in the Hilton hotel at T2, and then transferring to T5 the next day for our flight out.
We then fly back into T5, transfer to the T2 hotel, so that we can fly out of T2 the next day.
All of this was booked before my partner injured her knee, and now needs to use crutches.
We've organised assistance from the airlines involved, but this doesn't include getting between the two terminals, and Special Assistance at Heathrow only provides assistance within the terminals.
Apart from taxis, is there any other way of transferring between the two terminals ?

The standard way to get between the terminals is to take the Underground or Rail trains.
You can ask Heathrow to give you assistance to and from the stations https://www.heathrow.com/at-the-airport/accessibility-and-mobility-help/request-assistance1 -
Thanks for the link, and we've used the trains before, it's just this time they'd be difficult to get to and from.
Using the link you suggested, and then the chat function, and in an extremely convoluted way, and having had porters suggested to me to get me from the Terminal to the train station, I managed to find out that Heathrow runs a Special Assistance Bus.
I rang 020 8757 2700, and found out that if you contact them the day before you need to use it, they will organise it to come and collect you, and drop you at whichever terminal you need.
Looks like we're sorted6
