Is this quote fair? I provided the parts myself and it took 90 mins to complete the job. How much should a plumber be charging per hr. I am in Bucks.

£60 ph would be my guess, so £90 for labour. However was there also a call out fee, travel time etc? Always done these jobs myself.

He charges £65 an hr, that’s the cheapest quote I got.0

They will charge travel time as well as the time required to do the job. So working time is roughly £100 plus 40 minutes travel time. Hourly rate seems high to me, but I haven't had to call a plumber out in years.

That’s cheap hourly rate compared to what others are charging.0

Was this a scheduled call out or an emergency job? Ask him why he's charged you for 2 hours plus if it was a maximum 90 mins.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

OP
Was it straightforward ie not boxed in?
Slightly steep if you shopped around but
I've noted their hourly rate is often meaningless and often charge per job and I'm happy with that. (Hourly rates can get you stuff and I run miles from them)
About 120 max and 90 fair for non-boxed-ni cistern. all-round IMO in London, Greater London
PS - Edit = I'm guessing there was no alterations to any of the pipes, yes?0 -
I run a company and I wouldn't
be able to get anyone to do anything for less than a half day rate.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
