    There may well be trains running on that day. A lot of the rail companies are not confirming timetables until a few days beforehand. If they don't confirm the timetable then no trains will show up in the Nat Rail database.
    That's fine enough but I can't wait until lastminute.com - I need to know what I'm doing beforehand.

    As it stands there's no trains running here on that day so short of getting a bus to another part of the country where there may be trains running & then getting a train from there, I'm going to have to drive.
    Or cancel.
