  • Hi Poppy for assessment period 11th August to 10th September i had nil award but for my assessment period 11th September to 10th October i had award, i was under impression that as this assesment period is still including days from 11th September to 25th September that i would still qualify and thats why im confused that tax credit's states any quaul3days but universal credits doesn't.

You're completely misunderstanding the criteria. Your assessment period for 11th Sept to 10th Oct is outside of the criteria because this one ends after the 25th Sept.
As you weren't entitled to a payment for the assessment period 11th Aug to 10th Sept then you weren't entitled to the payment.
Why are you looking at the criteria for tax credits because you're not claiming this. Although the criteria is roughly the same because someone claiming tax credits will need to have received a payment in that same period 26th Aug to 25th Sept.

Thats not quite accurate as with tax credits you can also qualify by having an annual award of at least £26 too. My payments stopped back in June and I received both COL payments

You are quite correct. However, the OP is claiming UC and not Tax Credit so that's a moot point anyway.
