How long does a buyer have to accept or refuse a partial refund?

I have searched for this but can’t find the answer.

We agreed on the amount of the partial refund via ebay messages, I offered it in the Case but have not yet heard from the buyer.  I can’t do anything else within the case until the buyer has accepted or rejected the partial offer.

It’s been 10 days so far. Is there a time limit? What happens if they don’t reply?

They don’t have to respond and might be trying to time you out. If this is a SNAD case open, then just allow eBay to send a label for the return and forget the idea of a partial refund. If you allow it to time out, and it’s already overdue, then buyer gets a full refund and is told not to return item, and you are left scrabbling around trying to get your item returned.
