In any case they are all covered by £85K FSCS .
Even if your money never arrives?
It does seem there can be delays sometimes, especially when setting up new accounts. Even that money can disappear for a while, and nobody answers the phone or e mails .
However I have never seen a thread on here, where anybody has actually lost any money in the end. Happy to be corrected with any examples of this happening.

union bank of india did not deserve the hype of a mL endoresemnt as a top investment. useless
What "hype of a mL endoresemnt as a top investment"?

If you simply mean that they were shown in a list of savings accounts sequenced by interest rate, then that's rather different, and it's always worth also reading the caveat at the foot of each page:
This info does not constitute financial advice, always do your own research on top to ensure it's right for your specific circumstances and remember we focus on rates not service
Just had a look myself at the MSE savings accounts page. You have to scroll down through all the info before this caveat is visible, and it is not that prominently displayed ( in my opinion) Considering the number of posters who make similar comments as the OP, it would be better if it was stated more clearly, and maybe at the top, and then repeated again a couple of times ?

I was really meaning that that wording is within the standard footer at the bottom of every page - you're undoubtedly right that many miss it but there's a limit to how much can reasonably be pushed to the top of articles, and if too much boilerplate was inserted there, people would still skip past it!

Just on the aggravation factor rather than whether Bank of India should figure prominently on the site, I said over 2 years ago when I took out fixed term bonds with them that it was a really horrific experience, and I'd never repeat it. Fast forward and I've recently had three bonds mature, and all worked out as promised. They ARE a huge bank; no worries there, but you can only speak as you find, and trying to pay in the sums on a Friday gave me a weekend of fear that no-one at BOI could give me confidence that my money had or would arrive in my accounts with them. Part of the problem was/is that they use Barclays as a clearing house, which I didn't know until the Saturday, and I had to find that out from this forum; no-one at BOI or Barclays either knew or thought to tell me when I contacted them. Never again! You can only speak as you find.

You will have exactly the same issue with many of the smaller savings banks. As they are not clearing banks, they have to use one of the clearing banks for money coming in. Payments normally appear one working day after you make them. Maybe the same day if you pay in early in the day.
