Caught speeding...

Hi.
I was clocked doing 64 in a 50 by a policeman on a bike who pulled me over.
This was approximately three weeks ago.
I have yet to receive anything through the post. Hoping I might get a speed awareness as he said I was bang on the limit.
Do you guys have any idea how long this might take to come through?
From research I can't use the 14 day rule as it wasn't a fixed camera so at some point I am expecting something...

As we major on private parking tickets here, PePiPoo will be your best bet for police tickets. Register there but please note that a hotmail address won't work - try using a throwaway gmail account instead if you do have trouble registering and post a new thread; here's your link:Have a read through some of the other threads and use their NiP Wizard there before you post your own to get the hang of what information they need from you in your opening post - but as a minimum you will need to post redacted photos/scans of all correspondence you've received from the police (both sides, if appropriate) as they need to see all the small print. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

They have 6 months to issue a FPN (including SAC offer) or court summons. It’s different in Scotland.5

So anyone know the average amount of time when pulled by a traffic cop on a bike. I'd have thought I would have got one through by now...0

You could submit a Freedom of Information Request to the police force that interests you. I am sure they'll give you the number. They may even work out the average for you - not sure that anyone else could.
But you have already been told... up to six months.1
