Morning all been to collect Ds from work what a nightmare as he finished at 8am so by the time we got towards home it is the school run i dont understand all the cars we are 3 streets away from the school but all the local roads are blocked with cars both sides of the road we have 4 infant/junior schools within walking distance . I have put the heating on as it is so cold this morning we are a corner semi on a hill so i think thats why it seems colder we were a terrace before not much to do today just daily housework .
Snoozer glad to hear mum and baby are home
Nels I need a trip to costco but its the sorting and putting away afterwards that i can't be bothered with bit like the weekly shop
Right have a good day one and all stay safe dry and warm xxSlava Ukraini9 -
What a lovely name Snoozer - I hope that Laura does well with Esther soon.Nelski - I didn't know that Costco deliver though they probably won't do that to where I live and, TBH, I don't need such massive amounts any more. Generally go for toilet rolls and kitchen rolls. If I buy the chocolate shortbread it disappears far too quickly.Coxy - DR's meat is really great. When I had the outside freezer I bought lots from them, now I can't really justify it though I will go for a little look in a few minutes. Sending you a virtual hug too.Talking of Hester (happy birthday if you're reading along) I see from her blog that she and Steve now have the keys to their new flat - thank goodness!I've emptied the dishwasher and now need to have another coffee, bring in more logs and fill the bird feeders. The wee robin is wandering around the grass searching for some titbit or too. Yesterday I left out some on-the-turn blueberries which are gone. I'll also smear some lard across a couple of branches for the birds. My new longed-for mugs arrived yesterday so I'll have to clear out the unwanted ones, they'll go to the CS when I'm next down in Glasgow.10

Morning all, decided to get busy before I sat down to catch up on news! Only just had brekkie!. Yesterday the weather was horrendous all afternoon and night. I had gone to the retail park to try and up my pressie tally. Got a few bits but couldn't carry any more, DH picked me up, just as it started raining. I'm going to wrap DGS birthday ones this afternoon, then I can see what's left. Ordered DGD main present yesterday.DH and DS have trimmed a bit of the dreaded conifers at the back, no appearance from the owner so presume she's ok with it , otherwise she usually appears. It's a bit lighter in the kitchen now. He also planted a couple of azaleas rescued off a job, so hopefully we'll have a bit of colour next year. I've been getting rid of all the cuttings into the green bin this morning.Lovely news Snoozer, congratulations.Happy Birthday Hester.Salmon for tea tonight, quick and easy.Anyway hope you all have a good day x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Nearly afternoon
Weather was grim this morning. Throwing it down then magically it stopped and suddenly it was blu sky and sunny.
Frustrated at the moment....went to mums home to finally give her the presents from last week. It was still closed for visitors. The annoying thing is I rang yesterday but apparently they had another breakout so it was straight back home. I'm glad they are taking care of the residents but I wish they would improve communication
No plans for this afternoon but there's plenty to do.
Food wise I think Fish fingers may well feature
Have a good day all4
