Hello,
Need an idea of how much council tax would be on a Band A property in suffolk, Im a ft student, my partner is an apprentice...heres the but.....he earns £200ish a week. I know that i wouldnt have to pay, but because hes over the £160 limit just wondered if anyone would know how much he/we would have to pay.

if there are just the two of you in the property then you 'don't count' so your partner will get the single person's discount - i.e. 25% off.
a quick google gets the rates for 07/08 - it's listed by all the regions so that should cover it:
