Park Homes Energy Grant
Good morning
I hope someone on here has heard something definite.
There are many of us living in park homes who pay for our electricity directly to the park owner as they have bought the electricity directly from the supplier, in my case EDF. We have heard nothing, despite contacting everyone we can think of regarding the energy grant. The list includes park manager, park owner, EDF and my MP. (Labour).

Some members of the Facebook groups are being quite blasé about it, but equally many of us are struggling as we try to keep the bills down without the discount in the increasingly chilly days. I’m fortunate that I go out to work, so away all day, but many aren’t so lucky.
Any suggestions as to who I can contact?

Still no further news on how the money will be distributed, I'm afraid.0

only suggestion might be to get everyone on your site to write to your mp to ask them to ask about it in parliament.
probably wont do anything but you should get some response which might at least confirm there not quietly dropping the idea.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott
It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.0 -
Buzyizzy said:Any suggestions as to who I can contact?Nothing more you can do at the moment, as there has been no further signs of progress on the original plan to make funds available to residential customers without an account with one of the electricity suppliers.Only thing I can suggest that is worth doing to set expectations, is checking your status as a 'residential' electricity consumer. We've seen a few reports of people misusing non-residential sites as though they were residential and so not paying Council Tax, even if there is a scheme put into place I would not expect those on non-residential sites to benefit from it...
