Thermal blackout roller blinds - any advice about these?
Do you have a radiator below the window, are your curtains full length or just t the window sill?
Yes, generally the set up is that each window has a radiator 'starting' just below its sill with the curtains reaching down to a couple of centimetres below the top of the radiator
We fixed an extra piece of wood onto the front of each window sill so that they are wider - the curtains fall to the sill and the extra width pushes the heat from the radiator out into the room.
We have thermal blackout roller blinds in a couple of SE facing rooms (main bedroom and lounge). They aren't the snug fitting type mentioned, and are recessed but have a tiny gap at each side. They certainly keep the light out despite the side gaps, and hopefully keep a decent amount of heat in.
I don't wanna shut up, I want a 7up and a 10p mix-up.
