there is a seller on there selling "boho vests" for and i quote "a fraction of the retail price"...starting bid of £4.99 with £2.95 P+P
I have bought identical vests from a local clothes shop for £3 each! I couldnt believe it when i saw them on ebay going for £5 - £8!!
I have bought one in each colour for myself (they are comfy and the style suits me) but two of the colours dont really look so good.. so im gonna sell them on ebay.. at £3 - what i paid for them.
Also just weighed them.. postage will be 64p MAX maybe even 48p (depending on the POs scales) and even inlcuding money to cover fees incurred and couple of pence to cover "inconvienience of going the post office"... im only gonna have to charge £1.50 P+P to cover my costs....
This seller has obviously made alot of profit! Specially seen as they seem to have bought in bulk as are selling (and have sold) lots of these!0 -
There's nothing wrong with that I don't think! If I found something selling on eBay at a better price that I could sell lots of...then I would! :TStuff Happens As Wave of Ambiguity Spreads:cool:0

So are we going to see a glut of Pot Lid Racks then?!"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -

i dont think theres a problem either if people are willing to pay the price then fair play!
I was tempted to start selling them myself... but i think the shopkeeper already thinks im strange that ive bought loads of these already for myself! if i start buying loads more in different sizes they may cotton on. hehe
Oh and incidently... the identical top is selling in a shop literally over the road.. for £4! and people are buying them! Good job i shop around and compare prices before actually buying!

the shop won't mind, its business for him/her.0 -
People will buy anything on Ebay. I recently discovered that people even sell those plastic dispensing tubs that baby wipes come in...but empty, as in WITHOUT the wipes! And that people not only bid for them, but actually pay more for an empty tub than you pay for the wipes + tub in any Boots...what's that all about!?
Example. Huggies plastic 'travel size' dispenser (empty) recently went for over £2 +extra P&P (about £1 I think)
But Boots currently sell the standard Huggies tub + 108 wipes + the aforementioned travel sized dispenser in an all-in-one pack for £1.99.... Hello...?!
And I agree, if people are too stupid or lazy to do a quick internet price search before they bid for something then more fool them. Why assume that just because it's on Ebay it must be cheaper than anywhere else?0
