Boiler query

Good evening I've viewed a property to buy but the boiler and washing machine are currently on the storm porch so outside the house but under shelter on three sides Would this put you off putting in an offer I know I could get a gas engineer to look at the boiler but just wanted your recommendations Thanks

Most boilers are hung on or near an 'outside wall', as the flue needs to be run to the open air without an excessively long flue run.
If the boiler has been installed by a registered RGI and registered with GSR, and you have sight of the cert to prove it, then there is no reason to think that it is unsafe or unsuitable in that location. Obviously the location has to be watertight, but it doesn't have to be heated: lots of gas boilers are installed in unheated garages or lofts.
Moving it indoors is not a trivial job: you'll have to reroute the power supply, the gas supply and both the CH and DHW circuits to the new boiler location.
Fitting a door to the porch is a simple and cheap solution.
