Mine is in its original box but the crunchy plastic bag has split so i have just put it in a plastic sandwich bag with a clippit type clip.

Just store it in a sealed, airtight container and your cornflour will last for years. (Remember, though, that plastic bags can deteriorate, so don’t rely on one of those long-term.)
You wouldn’t believe how old my cornflour is. I bought a couple of kilos from a certain Chinese wholesaler years ago. (Its BBE date is 2008!). It’s stored in an air-tight Lock-n-Lock box and will probably last me until 2028.
