  • Cornflower used to come in a cardboard drum with a plastic lid. It seemed to keep for.... ever!
Mine is in its original box but the crunchy plastic bag has split so i have just put it in a plastic sandwich bag with a clippit type clip.
I have an original cupboard drum with metal base and lid. Don't knowhow old it is for certain but I know the container is over 30 years old.  It's smaller than the box I buy now so I need to store what won't go in the original container.

Just store it in a sealed, airtight container and your cornflour will last for years.  (Remember, though, that plastic bags can deteriorate, so don’t rely on one of those long-term.)

You wouldn’t believe how old my cornflour is.  I bought a couple of kilos from a certain Chinese wholesaler years ago.  (Its BBE date is 2008!).  It’s stored in an air-tight Lock-n-Lock box and will probably last me until 2028.
