Asbestos cement cloaking - Survey

We are in the process of buying a 1975 refurb and have just received our survey. It suggests there appears to be asbestos cement undercloaking, does this effect the house value can anyone tell me?

    Very very common, right up to the ban on the sale of asbestos-containing products.

    IMV it is unlikely to make any difference to the value of the property.  Just something to be aware of when work is done on the roof, or if anyone is planning to try painting it.
