HSBC OBS Welcome Pack Error

Opened the HSBC Online Bonus Saver two weeks ago. Today I receive a welcome pack by email. Stating an interest rate up to £10k of 1.3%. It should be 3.0%!

Still shows 3.0% on my account online.

I have rung them to let them know. The lady confirmed 3.0% and will notify whoever. I said I looked forward to receiving correct documentation in due course.

I got this too.  They seem to be in the same league as Principality at the moment, sending out incorrect information 🙄

same here, on the website and on the account they have the correct rate.

Descrabled

Two of us have both received the interest @ 2.96% on 1 November for the funds saved in October notwithstanding the erroneous email.

Thanks for posting that. Wasn't overly concerned but as an 'annual' it's reassuring to hear you've had correct monthly interest.
