Aunt used to make mince pies with cheese but hers was cream cheese added on top of the mince rather than in the pastry.2 -
Pffft, I judge before sampling. Food needs to appeal to other senses before taste.I'm unsure about my spine, I think it's holding me back.0

Quote button’s jiggered again…
It’s a texture thing for me, having the cheese separate. Plus sometimes I like more cheese with them than is probably wise ha haa!I'm unsure about my spine, I think it's holding me back.1 -

Spotted this Mince Pie Gelato while out and about yesterday. If the weather hadn't been sub-zero I might have tried it (in the interests of research, of course...)

There's a chance they won't be....
It's nice sometimes to have different cheeses with them. A chunk of white stilton+apricots/cranberries and a chunk of good mature cheddar. Very occasionally I'll give them 10 seconds in the microwave and just have them plain. Not very often like!

Do you mean something other than Terry Chocolate Orange??? I was offered a segment my first Christmas in the UK and ate it thinking it was, well, chocolate. Talk about revolting!!!
And a number of years back now I had cause to complain to Tyrells about the fact that their cheese popcorn (expectation - yum!) was actually cheese and onion flavoured (yuck!!!). They very nicely sent me a huge box of big bags on popcorn which included a Christmas dinner one. I must admit I did not try it but gave it to a friend. He said it would have been nicer if it was crisps instead of popcorn.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
