Is it possible to put a door into a stud wall?

I'm not a builder, but I would have thought that the cost of a stud wall and door would be peanuts when compared with the cost of bricking in that large window and creating two new ones.
And the two new rooms will be very cramped.1 -
It's very interesting you say that. I had a builder round recently he said we'd get two new rooms which would be 10 by 7 each which I didn't think was that bad but maybe it is too small?Silvertabby said:I'm not a builder, but I would have thought that the cost of a stud wall and door would be peanuts when compared with the cost of bricking in that large window and creating two new ones.

Get cupboards bigger than that.... Joking aside, my box room is nominally 8x8, and barely big enough for a single bed and a couple of bits of small furniture.Any smaller, and I'd seriously consider converting to a dressing room or en-suite.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
