Category N car insurance

Hi, can anyone help me understand what might happen next?
I had a not at fault accident last summer where someone crashed into the side of my car. As the cost to repair the cosmetic damage exceeded the value of the car it was written off category N but still drivable and I received a payout. Had an MOT and looked over by my mechanic shortly after and was all good. Last week I again had someone pull out of a junction into my car, not at fault again. The other party admitted fault and I've just taken it to be assessed by the insurers mechanic. As it is category N I doubt they will do the repairs but will I get another payout? Can't find anything online. TIA.

You'll get a payout to the value of the already damaged cat N car. If it's an old car, this is likely to be around its scrap value.0

Did you get the car fixed or just live with the damage?
The fact its been written off once before means its value is lower and so more likely to be written off again, if the prior damage hasnt been repaired even more so.
You would be entitled to its pre-accident value, less the value of the salvage if you wish to retain it, just like last time. If you havent had the prior damage repaired however the preaccident value may be very little more than what the scrap value is but in most cases there should be a small spread between the two. If you did have it repaired then more likely for a larger settlement (though less than last time)0
