Eon Next

Had our meters changed by Eon Next in order for them to become SMART. After fitting them we were then told no signal could be found so the smart gadget device that was    meant to show us what we were spending was not left with us.  This was in September this year.   Since then I have been submitting the monthly readings to them.   Each time I put in the GAS figure a message appears saying it seems low.  BOTH  the meters readings started of from  0000 with them being new.  I have since only been receiving my electric  charges. No gas charges.  I have been in touch with Eon who say they will sort it but still nothing yet.  Currently in credit by £1300.  Anyone had similar issues. Cheers.

The details of your meter reference numbers should appear somewhere on your Eon account. Check that they have the details correct for the new gas meter and are not still using the old meter number.

Have you checked that the meter details on your bill are correct ?

Have a look at the meter - note the serial number and the reading (watch out for the decimal point !)  -  now look at the bill itself and see what the serial is.

Have you actually had a bill since the meter was changed - if so that should show the meter change details.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill
