Has anyone had any response after transferring funds to this bond?
I opened an account and transferred funds which left my Barclays account on the 11th November but I have had no correspondence from the recipient whatsoever despite them saying that a confirmation email, log in details and a certificate would be sent within 2 to 3 working days.
I have sent emails but had no response.

That seems like a long time, even allowing for the weekend.
Santander finally transferred my funds on the 15th November and I received email confirmation that the funds had been received yesterday (16th November).
Have you tried calling them to ask if they can see the payment in their system?
Have you double checked the payee details ?

I am presently travelling out of the UK so calling them (and the inevitability of being on hold once I've been told how important my call is) is not an option. I did receive the initial confirmation informing me my account was open and I was able to transfer funds, all the details regarding the transfer have been checked and are correct. The fact that they see fit to not even acknowledge my emails is abysmal customer service, I am now in touch with Barclays who are going to trace the funds and hopefully recall them.
I'm just please I didn't transfer the full 85K as I had originally planned.0 -
Barclays have traced the funds and confirmed that they have been accepted by Union Bank of India and all transfer details were correct. I have found another email address for them and sent them the Faster Payment ID number but they have still not replied or even acknowledged my messages. It would seems as they have zero interest in dealing with me now they have my money.0

Have you had any luck getting log in details from them yet? I've had nothing snice transferring money on 14th November!! I've rang no luck just an answer machine and emailed a number of times and getting no response0

I composed an email and sent it repeatedly to the two addresses I have. I finally received a short reply informing me that they had received my funds but as the amount did not match the amount I had put on the application they could not open the account. They went on to say that they are awaiting the balance before opening it or I could inform them by replying to the email that I wished to open an account with the funds they have already received. This is at odds with their t&c's which state that only one deposit is allowed to fund the bond. I instructed them to open the account with the funds they received but surprise surprise, I have heard nothing back in 3 days.sporty123 said:Have you had any luck getting log in details from them yet?
