just as a reminder to everyone that you dont need to wait for a deadlock letter if your complaint is 8 weeks old. so if you complained about not receiving the oct voutcher in mid oct then you can go to the ombudsman as early as next week. and if you have since had your voutcher but are unhappy because you think you have been lied to or misinformed by customer service (blaming goverment departments) you can also go to the ombudsman about that (the ombudsman handles customer service issues and misinformation from energy suppliers as well)Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.1 -
Hi an update from me,relieved to say I received 2 letters in the post today both vouchers I am owed!they are both dated 26th November so I have 3 months to cash from that date.
Extremely stressful experience thanks to BG.I really hope they now have things sorted and everyone will get what they are owed.Thanks for giving me a place to vent my frustrations,and realise I was not alone.🙏🏻

Update: BG phoned me this morning, they said I needed to top up the key so the first payment would be credited. I was very skeptical as you can imagine. Topped it up and when i got home as soon as i put it, the first £66 were credited straight away.
November's voucher is on the post. I don't know if ill be getting this one, I believe I've to wait, again.
I'll come back to tell if I got November's.2 -

Hi I hope someone can advise me on the best way forward?My daughter is on a duel fuel PAYG meter with British Gas. She has a four year old daughter.
She hasn’t received her October or November £66 vouchers. She calls on almost a daily basis just to be told that she just needs to wait. I’ve tried to help by contacting BG on her behalf but have got absolutely nowhere!
Formal complaints have been made but we have heard nothing back from them.
What more can we do? Her meter is constantly running out and I can’t help her as much due to my own bills.0 -

We have some family in a similar position struggling this winter and we have tried to have a chat to get them thinking about their plan for next year and the tough decisions they may have to make.
Is there a plan or just a slow progression into more issues and stress and worry?1
