This week's newsletter featured Love Sales. Be careful with this site as they currently have no privacy notice so we have no idea what they will do with the personal data they get from users. (I work in data protection so I always read the privacy notices of websites I don't know to see what they will do with my data and whether I am happy with that.) When I clicked on the privacy policy link on the Love Sales site, it said it had been deactivated.

Legally, you must have a privacy notice on your website telling people about your data collection and use. As well as being a legal obligation it is very risky for people to provide personal data to an organisation / website without knowing who's behind it and what they will do with your data.

I have sent Love Sales an e-mail to alert them to the issue.

I know reading a privacy notice takes time, and is not massively interesting, but please do check first before you give away loads of personal data.
