Received Parking Charge Notice of £60. What do I do?

Hi all,
So on Saturday 10th November I received a letter from a company called Parking Collection Services. I am led to believe private companies as such have less powers than the council in regards to parking charges and hence I am posting this as a means of understanding my rights in this situation.

They claimed that I have committed an offence by parking in one of their client's car parks without a permit.

However, the reason why I parked there was because I was running late for a job interview and did not know the area well, so in a panic, I parked it there. I am now wondering what further steps I should take because I feel that the charge is unjust considering that I am now actually an employee of one of the businesses in a building that operates in the complex surrounding the car park in question and therefore I would like to appeal against this charge.

So how would I word my email to them and what should it contain (bearing in mind i have little knowledge of parking laws).

It is not as if I parked there for no reason, and besides I was only there for around 20 minutes (and the charge does not specify a length of time), so should someone else wanted to have parked in the area there were other spots available which further adds to my frustration.

As a university student who is already financially challenged, paying £60 is not easy.

I would also like if someone could clarify for me based on the images, when will they increase the charge to £100. And if i were to appeal within the time limit required to pay £60 pounds, by the time I receive a reply from them (and should my appeal fail) which may be in the £100 period, would I still have to pay £60, or would they demand the full £100.

I have 2 images of the letter (front and back) for you all to read and understand.

Thank you for all your help.

Everything you need to know about fighting this can be found in the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES near the top of the page where you clicked on the Create Post button.
Please read it thoroughly before you do anything else as it will answer most of your questions without the need to ask them in the first place.

Plan A is always a complaint to the landowner and/or managing agent and your MP.

Plan B is to appeal to the PPC. Was a NTD left on the windscreen?
Use the template in blue text you will find in the first post of the NEWBIES Announcement.

Acronyms and abbreviations common to the parking forum can be found in the fifth post of the NEWBIES.

Same with all new posters here.  It's why we have the NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST thread.

The NEWBIES thread has a template appeal...no link needed because you can click there now that you know where it is (see my signature for where to click, as you seem to have missed it).

I can't see who the creditor is as that's been mistakenly covered up.

We also need to see ALL the dates on that PCN.  All of them, please.
