Does anyone have any experience with regards to insurance claim supporting sinkhole repair to garden under shed. We have a sinkhole to the side and under our shed which is bolted down and has mains electric but insurance surveyor has declined to support our claim. Many thanks

What grounds have they declined your policy on?
Subsidence, ground heave etc typically is only covered if it causes damage to your home itself. If its only outbuildings, fencing, tennis courts, sheds etc are normally excluded unless the home itself is damaged at the same time0
