How long between mortgage settlement and Land Registry update?

Afternoon all,
Pretty much what it says on the tin. I paid off my mortgage (exact date in signature) and I am hoping to get myself an Official Copy of the Register for Christmas. How long does it usually takes to update the Registry? I know that I can pay £3 for a virtual copy and check that way but being MSE minded...
Cheers everyone!

Most DIY problems can be solved by a combination of spanner, pliers, screwdriver, Allan key and a blade. (Hold it, twist it, cut it!) Very occasionally industrial language, a hammer and an adhesive may need to be added to the mix. (Curse it, hit it, patch it!)

When did you pay it off? If you sign up to the land registry alerts you will be notified when the bank apply to have their charge removed.
Land registry are delayed at the moment, so expect a few months as a wait.1 -
A friend paid the last of her mortgage a couple of weeks ago by bank transfer, the land registry alert of the charge removal was received in a couple of days."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "1

My daughter spoke with someone there and they said they have a huge delay and not to expect it to be complete for a year to 18 months!1
