Private Parking Company - Time Limit to issue NTK

Can someone please confirm what this time limit is? I thought it was 14 days, but have read conflicting information.

I'm basically in receipt of a Charge Notice (CN) / Notice to Keeper (NTK). Date of event 06/10/2022 - Date of issue (posted) 27/10/2022.

Can I tell them where to shove it?

Plan A is always a complaint to the landowner and your MP.

The PPC has up to six months to obtain keeper details from the DVLA.
Their trade association allows them seven months to issue a PCN/NTK.
If no NTD is given, then the NTK must arrive by day 14 if the PPC wants to hold the keeper liable.
If an NTD was given, then the NTK must arrive between day 28 and 56 if the PPC wants to hold the keeper liable.
In both cases the date of the alleged event is day zero.

If a landowner cancellation is not forthcoming, then send the appeal template in blue text you will find in the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES. Add a one liner that the NTK arrived too late for them to hold the keeper liable. Do not miss the appeal deadline.

Don't expect your appeal to be allowed.

Do not reveal the driver's identity, especially if the keeper was not driving.

Unless landowner cancelation expect the court claim in due course.

Was the driver acting on company business?

That can't be presumed (but VCS has!).

If not, reply as such and tell them that neither the POFA nor CPS v AJH Films applies here.  State that the company does not accept liability for any sum at all, including no liability nor acceptance of the typical false and extortionate 'costs/damages/admin fees' that it is well known that VCS will never pay to any third party debt recovery firm, because they all act on a 'no win no fee' basis.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
