Advice wanted

Hi, on the 16th September my female dog was caught mating so I phoned the vet straight away and was advised to make an appointment as soon as my dog was off heat. I did this the following week and got baby in for her first jab (Not sure if it was Azilin) Second day she went back for her final jab. Today, 14th November my baby had given birth to a stillborn 😭 I’m so shocked and saddened this this has happened. I took them both straight to the vet to be told that there is one more pup inside. He told me that the injection has never failed. How have I spent £150 on this to fail my poor baby?? Has anyone else been through this? I don’t know what to do or even how I feel about this. Please no horrible comments. She is 4years old and due to be spayed in January

No drug treatment is ever 100% effective.  Looking at the azilin clinical data it says  97.4 % - 100% efficacy in clinic trials1 Day 0–22.
So your girl seems to be one of the very small percentage that it unfortunately hasn’t worked for. 

However the information leaflet also says that the dog should be rechecked after 10 days to make sure the treatment has worked. Was this option not offered to you?
