Yes I can restrict content but need to wb able to PIN lock the entire box at night. Teenager sneaking downstairs in middle of the night
Take away the HDMI lead between Sky Box and TV. Unplug the Sky box altogether and take it to your room If this is related to the adult content provided by Sky, you can disable (take it off the channel menu) through menu options. There's a Kids Only option, whereby only children's channels are available without PIN Look up Sky's website for "Parental Control"
Take the HDMI cable away when you go to bed or even the power cable as well, if you aren't bothered about recording stuff overnight. You could also take the viewing card out
Do the same with the router if you can't control or trust him/her/they to be sensible.
My daughter resorted to taking the router to bed when her teenage son started mucking about like that. She did try resetting the password but he was savvy enough to know how to reset it and set his own which locked her out (his dad is pretty ineffectual when it comes to discipline). She also took it to work so he was unable to use it at all unless she was there. It only took a week or so before he came back into line and started acting sensibly.
In a similar vein, my other daughter takes her kids (15 & 12) mobiles away from them at bedtime and lets them have them back in the mornings.
Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers
