  • I'd say march as less chance of snow and outside kids school holidays but that may be difficult as they get so many.

Avoid winter but March has some very sunny days, roads look beatter as does your area and people are out and about

As I post I am always thinks and I'll stick with March to June as in July most go on hols for a long time

So start of Mrach should be good but steer clear of any kids hols as people will be too busy going on hols.
  • In November 1979 under Thatcher's iron fist Bank of England base rate hit 17%. I had a for then large mortgage.  I was lucky - building society only wanted 15%..... Hope it doesn't get that bad..

    Best time?  F K..........
With hindsight best time was 12 months ago, now you are selling into a market where a lot of people have massively reduced "purchasing power". I would say mortgage rates hitting 6% now is much more devastating than the 15% in the late 70`s, people nowadays are carrying a much higher debt load for multiple aspects of their life, not just housing.
