Hello all, it's supposed to be a partly sunny day, but I can't see any signs of the sun yet. In the hope that it will be sunny I have put a load in the wm, so hopefully the washing will dry a bit outside as it's rather quite breezy. There's another load waiting it's turn so I hope it all stays pegged on the whirly!
I seem to have a sore eye this morning, unfortunately it's my "good" eye and I've no idea how or why that's happened, perhaps I'm using the computer too much lately. While the wm is on I'll to do some baking in the ninja, I've only air fried before and I really should try the other functions. Tea tonight will be meatballs and pasta followed by (ninja) cake, I hope.
Gers hope you feel better soon and make it back home without having to stop.
Nels glad you're back and Happy Birthday to your Mum 🎂
Scarlet hope everything goes well at the funeral and have a safe journey.
Take care all, stay safe and well. Hugs to anyone in need.

Morning all,I've been watching the cenotaph serice on TV, and remembering my DGran, she always felt it very deeply all her life. She was the youngest of 9 & 2 of her 5 brothers are buried in FranceI have quite a lot of memorabilia from WW1 ( if that's the right word) that came to me when she died.Letters to home, medals ,telegrams, even some photos of my Great grandmother. She went to France in 1918 where her youngest son was in hospital & passed away ,there is a photo of her watching the vehicle that brought him to the burial :'(I have been showing DGD a few things as she is really interested in history and they have been talking about the 1st WW at school. On to more mundane matters, I made chilli for tea last night, plenty left but I shall freeze it after I have some for lunch. It seemed so dark in the afternoon yesterday, dull again today but 15degrees here atm.Gers I hope you are soon back to normal.Nelski, hope Mum enjoys her birthday! Snoozer hope Crystal is okDGC school pickups today, we'll prob take DGS back to DS and meet him there.
